Setting the Bar

Kendall and I went to the park yesterday with our friends Diane and her son Brett. Brett is about 6 months older than Kendall. Well needless to say Mr. Brett is the prefect gentleman and has really raised the bar for anyone interested in courting Kendall in the future.

Hunting for the perfect flower to pick. It's all about the hunt!

Ahhh, this picture is priceless, it shoud be in a hallmark card

Retrieving more flowers for Kendall while she relaxes and eats her snacks.

Enjoying her fresh cut flowers!

The weather yesterday was gorgeous and today hasn't turned out so bad either. Bring on the sun!

Puddin' Face

Who can resist a puddin' face? Not me!
Ok, so she was hamming it up a bit for the camera!
This is her notorious, "What happened?" look
With all of her molars coming in, she's been very picky about eating. However, jello and pudding always go down smoothly. Tonight I'm trying Arroz con leche from Smitten Kitchen. I'm lying to myself and saying it's for Kendall. Turns out I'm a pretty good liar cause I've convinced myself it's true!

Giddy Up

This rocking horse was a birthday present from PawPaw and Mimi. I didn't see the horse in it's previous state, but apparently it needed some work. I love it and I think Kendall does too!
Oddly enough, "Naaaayyy" was the 2nd animal sound that Kendall has said. First being the duck, "Quack, quack". I think it's odd because she's never seen a horse in real life, but I still can't get her to make a dog sound, you know the animal that she does actually see everyday.

Here Comes the Sun

And I say, "it's alright"!
Thank goodness for the sun deciding to make an appearance. We purchased a gently used jogging stroller(passed on Kendall's other stroller to cousin Naomi) from a children's resale boutique this morning and couldn't wait to try it out. So we had our first walk of the season and the weather was perfect. I dare say my child actually got hot and was possibly perspiring.

The weather and walk was just what I needed to lift my spirits after the news we received yesterday about Sable. And since it's a jogging stroller, guess we should probably get some runs in too!

Blessings From Above

"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."
My niece Naomi Marie Hardeman was welcomed into this world on Saturday, February 27th. Weighing in at 7 lbs. 1 oz., 19 3/8 in. She is beyond adorable with her mama's chin, daddy's nose and a head full of hair. We could not be more blessed!!! The new family of 4! Big brother is very proud!
The doting grandparents, Pawpaw & Mimi
The proud auntie snuggling with Naomi, only 2 days old!
