Nine Months

It has now been the same amount of time that we've had Kendall with us as the amount of time she was in utero. However, unlike pregnancy which seems to drag forever, this past 9 months has flown by. We never cease to be amazed at our little angel!

She had her 9 month check-up yesterday and also got her flu shot. No fun. She weighed in at a little over 21 lbs and is 29 in. long. She is a healthy little girl!

We had 2 special appearances today for her 9 month birthday. Her top 2 front teeth FINALLY broke through. Hopefully, biting doesn't follow.

Her vocabulary consists of Ma-ma, Da-da, hi and thank you. She can also clap, wave and give kisses (which are open mouthed and very messy). We are working on blowing kisses although our peditrician said this doesn't normally happen til around 1. We are out to prove him wrong. She is pulling up on everything. And I repeat everything. I think it might be time to install under the cabinet counter locks. What do you think?Nine months. Long enough for me to forget what my life was like without her and hard for me to imagine ever not having her. Nine months of pure bliss!!!
